Tariff Pricing Updates

April update for expected increases
While the threat of continued and additional tariffs; lumber, OSB and copper wire have experienced a significant change in material pricing. While we expect to see costs increase again after April 2, (TBA when reciprocal tariffs go into effect), some of the expected pricing impact became effective when the tariffs were announced.
As a result, base pricing for most Clayton home building facilities, along with the independent factories we are currently working with, will increase pricing during the first two weeks of April. This increase is effective on all new home orders placed March 31st or beyond. Check with your home consultant as to the impact on your home price.
The factories are currently proactively working with the supply chain and brand partners to mitigate the impact of known expected tariffs, and we will continue to monitor and provide updates until market conditions resolve. The next base price update will be available in two weeks.
Please stay in contact with your home consultant to reduce the impact of increased costs associated with the expected tariffs.
